- Appreciative Advising. A handout from Jennifer Bloom that explains the different stages of appreciate advising: disarm, discover, dream, design, deliver, don't settle.
- High-Impact Advising: A Guide for Academic Advisors. The first chapter from the advising book from Sue Ohrablo; it gives solid, overall advice on working with students. If it piques your interest, there are some copies available through OhioLink.
- The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) homepage. If you are interested in learning more about how other institutions talk about advising, or discovering more resources, this is a good place to start.
